Witness
locates
For situations in which
an individual that has been witness to an event, or can provide
information on any other person, place, or object,
NII has the resources and skills to accomplish that
goal. We utilyze a vast network of proprietary and public data
sources with investigative intelligence in order to find people who
can provide important information as it relates to a case. Upon
locating such individuals, we can also conduct informational research into
their backgrond for further analysis.
Witness
Interviews
Our investigators have been
trained by Wicklander/Zulawski, Reid Interviewing Institutes as well
as The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and have been
conducting interviews since 1981. We have experience in taking
statements for criminal and civil situations that effect both
businesses and personal issues alike. Such situations include
accident investigations, company violations, internal/external theft
situations (see Admission Seeking
and Informational Interviews), and personal injury cases. Our
strategy regarding witness interviews is not only to get the details
surrounding an event, but also determine the motive behind the
statements and ascertain the verifiability of such
information.
Surveillance
‘Stationary Surveillance’ is a service provided when a
particular building, structure, or place is to be observed and
activity documented. ‘Mobile Surveillance’ is to be used when agents
are to conduct a moving surveillance of a subject. In both instances
Northern Integrity Investigations can provide digital video and
photographic documentation of activities, persons, places observed
with detailed written reports.
Informational Research
As licensed private
investigators we are authorized by information repositories to
conduct searches and collect data for legal purposes.
NII subscribes to several proprietary databases and
uses multiple types of searches to ensure accuracy. See our
complete Research Index for
available reports.
Process
Serving
At NII we
pride ourselves on being able to locate and deliver court documents
to the target subject quickly, efficiently, and legally. Because we
are a licensed private investigation firm and one of our skills is
locating individuals, we have the knowledge, tools, and experience
to locate and deliver court documents in a timely efficient manner.
Our goal is to get the job done at an affordable and competitive
price. If there are special billing requests, specific instructions
regarding a serve, or serves that are needed on an urgent basis we
can handle it. The more difficult the serve, the more successful we
become.
Personal Injury
When it is vital to
ascertain the extent of someone’s injuries, or the facts surrounding
an injury causing event, we can employ techniques and methods that
can provide documentation and evidence needed to verify the extent
of a subjects injuries and the facts behind what caused
them.
DNA/Forensic Lab
Testing
Among other benefits, DNA
testing provides evidence needed to verify that a person is either
biologically related to another individual, or if an individual has
physically been in contact with certain substances and objects.
Northern Integrity Investigations uses a full service and
accredited DNA analysis and drug testing laboratory. This lab
focuses primarily on the testing and evaluation of Forensic and
Paternity DNA. Through this partnership, NII can
offer a variety of services to private citizens, private
investigators, attorneys, and law enforcement using the most
advanced methodologies available to detect and test DNA from many
sources at an affordable cost. NII and its
affiliate use legally admissible services to determine and confirm
the identity of a person in a variety of situations. We can have
tested samples such as date rape drugs, blood, hair, poisons, semen,
vaginal fluids, undergarments, unknowns, suspicious death evidence
and more. Learn more

Domestic
Investigations
Considered on a case by case
basis. Our priorities are child safety, child
custody, and fraudulent activities. Call for more
information.
Email
Tracing
With the use of the internet
there is a risk to receiving anonymous threats, fraudulent
transactions, unsolicited commercial messages, blackmail and
harassing, slanderous or malicious messages. Email Tracing is an
investigative specialty that is used to determine the source and
sender of such an email. If you receive such an email make sure to
save it, especially the header information, and we can assist you in
identifying those involved. Keep in mind that such an investigation
is a time sensitive situation as individuals can change email
addresses suddenly and frequently.
Employee Theft
Investigations
With having expeirience for
over 20 years investigating such situations, NII
Investigators and Certified Fraud Examiners specialize in
employee theft, fraud, and embezzlement cases. We provide our
business clients the evidence, documentation, and analysis necessary
to determine if an employee has been stealing from their business.
Our investigators are trained and experienced in interview and
interrogation techniques so that the client will be able to have an
admission from the subject that is invaluable for both prosecution
and/or restitution.
Admission Seeking
Interviews
Also known as an 'Integrity
Interview,' the goal of this interview is to conduct an
admission-seeking conversation with an employee to provide evidence
in the form of a verbal and/or written admission of responsibility
for dishonest acts or company violations. Interviewers are
professionally trained with years of experience and have an
outstanding record of successful interviews. NII
investigators have received training through Wicklander/Zulawski,
John E. Reid interview training institutes as well as The
Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Informational
Interviews
This is different than an
‘Integrity Interview’ in that general questions are asked to
multiple subjects in order to either narrow down the suspect
list, provide an overall deterrent, or learn of the actual
situations that may exist in a business. The questions are
developed by experts to bring out from the interviewees pertinent
and vital information for the situation at hand.
Video/Digital Tape
Review
If the client has a CCTV
system that stores media either digitally or analog, a
Northern Integrity Investigations agent can review the tape for
suspicious activity. The time involved in the reviewing process is
greatly reduced due to the trained eye of the agent who can fast
forward the tapes to pertinent times of activity.
