As licensed private investigators we are
authorized by information repositories to conduct searches and
collect data for legal purposes. NII subscribes to
several proprietary sources and uses multiple types of searches to
ensure accuracy. We do however caution as stated in our agreement
that the information contained in such reports is obtained from
public records, database services and through observation or
perception which may require the exercise of judgment of
interpretation.

NII will not, does not, or
ever will provide information to its clients for reasons other than
what is legally allowed. The laws involved in certain types of
searches may include, but are not limited to, the Drivers Privacy
Protection Act (DPPA), Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLB), and the Fair
Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). All transactions must have a
signed contract kept on file prior to the beginning of any project.
NII adheres to the strictest of confidentiality
policies and it also expects its clients to abide by the
confidentiality set forth in the signed contract. Under no
circumstances will NII pursue information involving
the purpose of stalking, harassment, identity theft, or other
illegal goals. Unless client shows legal cause for such information
including consent from owner of such identification,
NII reserves the right to truncate certain
identifiers including social security numbers, dates of birth, and
driver's license numbers. These numbers will be used by
NII for research purposes and kept on file. If
there is a legal need for these identifiers NII can
provide this information to the client. For reports generated
certain variables such as areas covered, turn around time, court
search fees, can vary.
